Selected Work: Practice Overview

These two reels, approximately 5 minutes each, provide an overview of Gwen Stevenson’s practice across recent and earlier work, tracing the development of an interdisciplinary practice from participatory and time-based work towards immersive and interactive digital installation.

The first reel presents recent work created between 2023 and 2026, including immersive installation, interactive systems and digital art. These works explore ecological change, memory, place and embodied interaction through real-time technologies, generative processes, motion tracking and audience participation.

The second reel brings together selected works created between 2007 and 2024, spanning performance, moving image, sound installation, augmented reality and participatory practice. Together, the two reels offer a broader view of the ideas, approaches and media that have shaped the development of the practice.
